Not too much to talk about... other than holy cow... it's cold up here! I don't know what the actual temperature is but according to my computer, it is now -2. I am not sure that is accurate but it sure feels cold today. We've had some terrible winds lately as well so I am sure that is doing a number on how warm anyone feels. When the winds get real bad, the planes are grounded. When planes are grounded, we get no mail. When we get no mail... it just isn't a happy place to be! :)
Mark T. and I were discussing the winds this morning. He was saying that we usually get these wicked winds in Sept. or Oct. My response was something along the lines that hopefully this doesn't mean that our snow will be here until July! Seriously, we don't have much snow to talk about. I understand there was quite a bit earlier, before our return. However, that snow is gone. Here's my theory about the disappearance of snow:
Last winter we had a nice, well as nice as snow can be, amount of ground covering. The fields were semi smooth for riding. My dear sweet friend Jodi ordered a new snowmobile. A couple of days before it arrived, all of the snow melted! Well, our dear principal Dan, just recently ordered and received his brand new snowmobile! Guess what happened??? You got it, the snow melted once again! Let's just say this spring, when I am sick to death of snow... I just may order a new snowmobile! (Not)
Ok... those were just some random thoughts for the day. By the way, did you know that a gallon of water here in St. Michael costs $6.15?
